Are dining plans available separately from vacation packages?

Are gratuities included with dining plans?

No. Gratuities are not included, except at Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue and Cinderella’s Royal Table. Please note that: An additional form of payment is needed if you add gratuity and have not provided a credit card at check-in to charge incidentals and other expenses to your room. An 18% gratuity will automatically be added to your bill for parties of 6 or more. An automatic gratuity charge may also be added to your bill for certain items you order that are not included in the Disney Dining Plan. Merchandise or photo-imaging products that may be offered at Character Dining experiences are also not included.

How do I determine how many meals and snacks I have left on my dining plan?

Your dining plan includes a certain number of meals and snacks per night of your stay. Meals and snacks can be redeemed at any time during your stay. Unused meals and snacks will roll over day to day and expire at midnight on day of checkout. Meals and snacks are non-transferable. Here are 3 easy ways to track your dining plan meals and snacks: Use the My Disney Experience app. Visit the “My Resort Stay” section, then select “Check Dining Plan” to view the status of your meals and snacks—total issued, already redeemed and still available. Do I have to purchase a vacation package to select a dining plan?

Yes. Dining plans can be added to select Walt Disney Travel Company packages that include a Disney Resort hotel stay—for arrivals on or after January 9, 2024.
